Goal Set by President Joe Biden
President Biden sets a goal of 50 percent electric vehicle sales by 2030. The White House released a statement and said that it was aiming for half of all new vehicles sold by 2030 to be electrically powered.
Sales of Ather Scooters
The start-up has reportedly sold around 3,758 units this year (Q2 2021), compared to 2,972 e-scooters in 2020 and 2,290 units in 2019.
